Training Log: Squat

Shoulder stretch, roller, leg stretch with bands

Warm up sets

Working sets:

270 x 5

310 x 5

350 x 5

 

Assistance work:

Squats:

245 x 6 x 3

Hanging leg raises

 

The big man came out and joined me again! Here is what I had him do:

Sumo deadlifts:

35 (kettlebell) x 5 x 7

Front plate raise/lower/turns:

5lb x 4 (each [up/down/turn right/turn left]) x 4

 

Squats didn’t feel great tonight for some reason or another. I think I need to strengthen my lower back a bit more; for some reason it’ll give me a hard time occasionally.

It was excellent to have my son out there with me again. He’s showing a little more interest lately so I may put together a plan for him to join me every time I train.
