Training Log: Cardio/Conditioning

Just went for a walk today. Needed it.

 

Today should have been my squat training day. Even last night I was mentally prepared to set new PRs today. Then, I couldn’t sleep last night. So I woke up and decided today wasn’t the day to squat, much less pursue a new total.  This is ok.  I’ll be ready Monday morning.

Hopeful to rest this weekend.

First attempt at 250 didn’t happen.  Refocused and decided it was going to happen. Glad I did. Happy with another new PR this week. Attempted 255 but it wasn’t going to happen today, which is fine. I still consider bench my weak link, but, am satisfied that I am making progress.

Even though I made the lift, I am just happy enough with it. It is not feeling that it is a strong lift so I plan to knock the calculations back a bit and work up from there. Long term, always for the long term.
