I’m happy to say, Ian is pretty excited that we’re building a home gym. Even though it’s nowhere complete he wanted to go out to the garage and “try it out.” I let him press with a 10 lb plate and he did a bit more than 3 sets of 10.

No assistance work.

 

Something is just off this week. Not sure what, things are just feeling heavy and lifts are slow. Pushing through.

Squat rack: home gym coming together

Got a good deal on a squat rack (with chin-up bar), bench, barbell, and a few plates of various sizes. He even threw in a dumbbell rack (still need db’s), and some rubber mat.

Next, more plates and then build my deadlift platform. Looking forward to having my own gym!
