Training Log: Squat

Shoulder stretch, foam roller, leg stretch with bands

Warm up sets – squat

Working sets:

300 x 5

345 x 5

390 x 8

 

Assistance work:

Leg press:

430 x 12 x 4

Ham curl:

135 x 10 x 4

Foam roller

A friend gave me a sample of ‘BPI Sports 1.M.R’ to try out.  Typically I take 2 scoops of any pre-workout but since this said it had 300 mg of caffeine I thought 1 scoop would do.  It was ok, but I’ll just say that I’m happy it was a free sample. 

Good training week. Hit close to where I wanted to be on each of my last sets, and still feel progress being made. Should be a great weekend with friends and family, and a bit of rest.
