Working sets:

320 x 3

365 x 3

410 x 3

 

Assistance work:

Ham curl:

135 x 10 x 4

Leg press:

430 x 12 x 4

410 felt great this morning and 3 went up with no issues.  It has been a good training week, and I believe this shift I’ve made of only going for my 3’s on the second week makes sense for me over the long term. Push past on 1st week, hit #’s & reps 2nd week, push past on 3rd (big) week, then a nice deload on the 4th week.

Looking forward to next week’s 5/3/1.  Even if I just hit the calculations, each day should bring a new PR. Fun times.
