[5/3/1 – Week 1] – Bench Press

As mentioned in a previous post, I started the 5/3/1 program.  Here is today's training log.

(Warm ups: Stretch – Jump Rope and/or Broom handle stretch
40% x 5 = 85
50% x 5 = 105
60% x 3 = 125)

65% x 5 = 135
75% x 5 = 160
85% x 5+ = 180

180 x 10 x 1 (last set) *PR  [180 x 10 x .0333 + 180 = 240]

Assistance Work #2:
DB Bench:
5 sets of 15

55 x 15 x 2
50 x 15 x 3

DB Row:
5 sets of 10

60 x 10 x 5
